The Ceremony is the most important part of your day and the vows you make to each other will last a lifetime. While you prepare for your wedding, discuss the vows and commitment you want to make to each other. A vow is a promise , a promise to be kept for ever.
Many couples choose their vows from the selection provided in your wedding license package provided by the registrar of marriages at Vital Statistics.
There is a nice selection of 10 different sets of vows. You may want to choose one of these or even mix and match the vows and incorporate them into the larger ceremony.
You may want to provide your own vows and that's perfectly acceptable too. You can decide. The law of the Yukon requires only one special vow be made within the framework of the ceremony and we can add this vow to your chosen vows. Some couples choose to say their vows to each other, others choose to vow together - so that "I do" becomes "We do". Some couples also like to include their families within the ceremony with children also being included in the promises made and even the exchange of rings.
This is your Ceremony and I'm very happy to help you write your own special vows.
